Sights that bring joy
There are few sights that bring joy. For example, a dark day with thunders & storms, an exquisite silhouette of a car [or perhaps the fairer gender, if you prefer]. But the startling thing is the sight of a televised debate on a certain channel. PBS, my dear friends, Public Broadcasting Service. It has the old pre-2000s look & feel of Doordarshan in India.
The academia in discussions, the minimalist sets, non-existent flash, simplicity.

Yet another one, chrome...Google chrome.
One of the more visible bloggers on microsoft's developer network blogs wondered why anyone would want more browsers. Seriously, Google should have given it a thought.
Its just the browser one wants. Light, zippy & does what its expected to do. Actually too zippy while scrolling down the lengthy pages.
Oh, few javascript functions in the usual web sites seem to be off mark in Chrome. Guess it would take some time before the world starts looking at Chrome as more than a beta browser.
But a brilliant thing before Firefox comes out with the quicker javascript engine.

New classic?
Wall-E
"Almost any description of this beautiful film makes it sound juvenile or didactic, and it is neither" Frank Rich, New York Times.

Rules of the blues.
7. Blues can take place in New York City but not in Hawaii or any place in Canada. Hard times in Minneapolis or Seattle is probably just clinical depression. Chicago, St. Louis, and Kansas City are still the best places to have the Blues. You cannot have the blues in any place that don't get rain.
